She is the Case Management Director at ChildNet, and has been in child welfare for 16 years. To Nyasha, Black History Month is a celebration of “because of them I am!” and a time she is most proud to wear & learn more to support Black Culture. Reflecting on her time in child welfare, Nyasha recalled one of the most impactful moments being her supervisor seeing her leadership potential that she did not see in herself. Nyasha is now proud to grow leaders who look like her and are confident.
