ENRICHING LIVES IMPACTED BY FOSTER CARE

Every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and cared for.

Friends of Foster Children of Palm Beach County supports foster families, kinship caregivers, and youth in transition — connecting them to the resources, guidance, and community they need to thrive.

WHY IT MATTERS

Children and families involved in foster care often face challenges that go far beyond placement.

  • Families struggle to access consistent support and don't know where to turn

  • Caregivers feel isolated, overwhelmed, and under-resourced

  • Youth aging out of foster care face critical transitions without a safety net

No child should be limited by circumstances they didn't choose. And no caregiver should have to navigate this alone.

For nearly 40 years, we've been showing up for families across Palm Beach County

This journey can

be overwhelming.

  • The uncertainty.

  • The paperwork.

  • The feeling that the system is too big to navigate alone.

That's why Friends of Foster Children exists — to walk alongside families and youth every step of the way, connecting them to the resources, support, and community that make a real difference.

    Connect

We connect families, caregivers, and youth to the programs, services, and resources that meet them where they are — so no one has to figure it out alone.

    Support

We walk alongside foster families, kinship caregivers, fathers, and young adults through the moments that matter most — with guidance, tools, and a caring community.

    Strengthen

We help children and youth build the stability and confidence they need to move toward futures full of possibility — not defined by where they started.
