Family Finding

Every Child Deserves to Know Their Family.

When a child enters foster care, locating and maintaining connections to family can change everything. Our Family Finding program works to make those connections happen.

About The Family Finding Program

Children in the foster care system often enter care in communities far from their families. Parents may have moved out of state. Relatives may not even know a child needs them. The system can feel too big, too complicated, and too slow to bridge that gap.

Our Family Finding program exists to do exactly that — locate relatives and family members wherever they are, and help build the connections that give children a sense of roots, belonging, and stability. In 2025, many children in Palm Beach County were connected to kinship placements and family relationships through this program.

Whether you are a relative looking for a child in care, or a professional working to locate family for a child you serve, we are here to help.
